Leon County Annex
Centerville, TX

County Annex Facility
This project began with a comprehensive master plan that indicated the need for about 25,000 SF. Site constraints dictated 3 floors of 8,400 SF each. At the time of bidding, the project cost came in below averages. The interior is exceptionally space efficient with identical corridors, break rooms, restrooms, mechanical and storage being “stacked”.
The building site is in downtown, across from the town square and surrounded by historic buildings of various styles. During the course of project planning, no one requested a modern style building, agreeing that the new facility should be compatible with the historic fabric of downtown.
The exterior collected simple detailing from surrounding buildings and with its own unique fenestration pattern, immediately fit with its neighborhood.
Project Size: 25,200 SF
