Master Plan & New Cafeteria

This project is the first phase of a new master plan. The master plan is designed to update a fifty-year-old Methodist encampment located on 1300 acres in southern Anderson County.

The exterior design of the facility sets the tone for future buildings in an effort to provide a more cohesive campus. The green metal roof and buff colored split-faced concrete block exterior blend harmoniously into the heavily wooded site.

The kitchen size is designed to provide food for 650 campers per seating. Therefore, when the camp is at maximum capacity of 1200, only two seatings are required. There are four serving lines that allow all 650 campers to be seated in about fifteen minutes. In order to provide for large, small, and different groups, there are three dining rooms that can be open to one another as required. One seats 350, while the other two seat 150 each.
